Please join us for an Oxfam America Make Trade Fair
House Party! Snacks, drinks, and fun will be provided!
This is an opportunity to get educated and inspired
about fair trade and the role of the 2007 Farm Bill
now in Congress.
Meet other South Bay Area folks interested in fair trade,
write a short letter to your Congressperson, and find
out how you can get involved with like-minded folks to
help spread the word in the South Bay.
Californians have an extraordinary opportunity to help
reduce world poverty and improve our environment by
reforming the 2007 Farm Bill now being debated in
Congress. Come watch a great PBS documentary and learn
how your Congressperson (Honda, Lofgren, etc) and Senator Feinstein can
help reduce world poverty by shifting money from bad
programs to good ones that really support family
farming, world peace and environmental conservation.
Let's put our tax money to work for farmers, families,
and our future!
