- Oxfam Hunger Banquet, with speaker the Hon. Dexter Randall, P-North Troy, organic dairy farmer and activist with Oxfam America. Candidates for the VT legislature will be present to ask and answer questions about local, countywide, and state actions to prevent hunger. Ethan Dezotelle, organizer of the Franklin County Food Council, will also attend.

- The Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst, Massachusetts, is organizing an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet to raise awareness of the growing global hunger crisis and to raise funds to support Oxfam's poverty-fighting work. The event is open to the public. Please join us at the UUSA Meetinghouse for a learning experience for all ages. A suggested minimum $5 donation is requested.
